So, as you can see I am slow getting started!  I was never good at writing letters or sending cards snail mail either :) I am pretty good with e-mails! But, blogging ~ this is a whole new thing... I enjoy reading and viewing other blogs, but haven't been as dedicated to mine. I'm going to do my best to change that this year ~ wish me luck!


I have always had a thing for painting frogs, they have so much character! Here are a couple of my favorite frogs ~

Here are a few of my other works of art. I have always enjoyed painting frogs, butterflies, shells, etc... It was just this summer that I painted (in a mixed media style) a series of women. I was always the first one to say ~ I don't paint faces only frogs, butterflies etc...  I decided I would give it a try and enjoyed the process, the finished product is very different from what I had envisioned, however many times that is the case :)

The Act of Blogging

SOooo, I have been saying I am going to start blogging :) and then I start procrastinating! Nothing new:) ...and now that we are going into our season in Florida and I should be super busy (positive thinking), I am thinking it is time to take baby steps and start posting at least weekly.
